Euro Ninja Gaiden demo iffy
Sony unable to clarify.
Unfortunately us Europeans will have to sit and watch from the sidelines as US and Japanese gamers enjoy a demo for Ninja Gaiden Sigma next month.
You see, Sony Europe still has no idea when we can expect PS3 taster or full game here, telling Eurogamer this afternoon that it was still waiting for information.
Meanwhile Famitsu has announced the demo will be released across North America and Japan on 27th April, ahead of the title's scheduled launch in June.
It is rumoured to include a specially created chapter that won't be in the full game, which will give you access to many of the game's weapons early on.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the PlayStation 3 version of the popular shuriken-slinging game for Xbox, Ninja Gaiden: Black. Creator Tecmo recently shouted at the Internet insisting that it was much more than a port.
Apparently the whole package has had an overhaul, from graphics and performance, to content and bouncy boobs.
It should prove itself to be an essential purchase when it eventually makes its way to Europe. Mercilessly attack our Ninja Gaiden Xbox review to see why.

Wow. Great. I'm going to make another account then.

You've bought a PS3 then? Last time I read a post of yours, you were quite sceptical...

and while you're at it, download Everybody's Golf 5 (the demo of course)

Hell with an action based game like this I'd be happy with the demo being in Japanese. We got DOA4 just a couple of weeks after America so why not this?

My biggest gripe was the restricted BC, which still has issues TBH, but none the less I'm having a blast with God Of War and MotorStorm ATM. The PS3 really is a neat piece of kit. Definitely not a console I'd recommend to everyone, but to nearing-middle-age-technophiles such as myself it's a very interesting piece of hardware.

Am I right in thinking you can only have one master account on a PS3... I suppose my question is, can you swap between this fake-japanese one and a valid UK master account easily?

I'm not sure (I don't have a PS3 ATM, but saw the story in my RSS feeds) but I know people have been doing it so ask around on the PS3 forums...

Yeah, I see what you mean. I've got so many games left unfinished/unplayed for PS2, GC, DS, GBA and PC and still something inside me wants to splash out for a new console. Makes no sense...
Do you have a regular TV with PS3 or a HD one?

There's no way a demo of Ninja Gaiden would be allowed on the German PS3 service, and it's possible Sony don't have a system for distinguishing that yet.
Might be wrong, havn't dropped 400 odd quid on one yet.

Wait a few months and you don't have to. Should be a nice price drop for the 60, a phase out of the 20 and an introduction of the 250.......

Is actually a typo in press release. Should read "most impotent continent"

They do... you can't get any 16/18 rated stuff at the moment on the German PS Store. That means, Lemmings and Gripshift only, no Tekken. >_<
Anyway, about this master account for Japanese PSN access thing... If I do that and download the demo, can I play it with my regular user? Or do I have to switch first to the Japanese-only user?
EDIT: Ok, did a little research by myself... apparently, you can play downloaded demos and games under any user on the system.

SD at the moment

I would buy a PS3 just to play it (if it was exclusive of course)
