Nobody needs a demo for this game really. We already know what it is going to play like, and it will sell regardless.

yeah who needs a demo? it will be the same homoerotic shite featuring burly twats in bandanas. Maybe when I was 15 I would have thought it was cool but nearly double that tally and I just can't take such pap anymore.

You can do what I did and try the PC demo. It looked amazing but the gameplay is practically the same as it was in the '90s, and this felt wrong to me. UT2004 could get away with it, but the difference between visuals and control is too great now. The irony is that Gears of War's contributions to the genre are the reason my expectations got raised. Epic literally shot themselves in the foot, as in Gears this can stop or (Gears 2) slow down the player, while a UT3 character can just keep running and bouncing all over the place right up until they're are killed outright... |
