Entire Rock Band 2 list leaked?

Naughty video spills beans.

The entire Rock Band 2 track list appears to have been spilled all over the Internet like a drink.

One of you has uploaded a video to YouTube (spotted by videogaming247) that scrolls through each of the nine collections you'll work through in the campaign.

There's no official word on its legitimacy, but those songs proven to be authentic earlier are replicated here, and to our eyes it could just be the real deal.

Unfortunately the video stops short of scrolling through each song, leaving us with the titles but not the bands. So we're asking for your help to fill them in, Eurogamer reader. Show us your knowledge.

You can find a lot of these out by punching the title into Wikipedia. It (usually) responds with the correct page if it's a popular/famous track.

edit: forgot to mention. AWESOME track list!

  • kangarootoo #3 4 years ago

You Oughta Know is an Alanis Morrisette track isn't it?

And Feed My Frankenstein is an Alice Cooper song.

Black Betty? Isn't that Tom Jones?
  • kangarootoo #4 4 years ago

Born To Run is Springsteen. Come on EG, make an effort! ;)
  • kangarootoo #5 4 years ago

American Woman was by The Guess Who's, but I believe Lenny Kravitz also did a cover, so it could be his version.
  • kangarootoo #6 4 years ago

I should really do one post instead of one at a time. There is a course a third option, which is go home.

Yes, I shall do that instead :)
  • mattniche #7 4 years ago

    Anna Molly is Incubus.
  • Kyle #8 4 years ago

2 Minutes to Midnight is quite obviously Iron Maiden and November Rain is quite obviously Guns N' Roses and Kickstart My Heart is quite obviously Motley Crue.

And Leatherface you are quite obviously wrong.

I cannot wait to play Machinehead by Bush. One of my very favourite songs from their stable!

/reminisces about being back in the sixth form and discovering that album...

EDIT: yes, the video is bloody awful :p

EG doesn't know who sung Comfortably Numb :/
  • Freelancepolice #11 4 years ago

I'm calling fake, faker than fakey mcfakes from fake street
  • GingerMagician #12 4 years ago

Man in the Box - Alice in Chains
    Spoonman - Soundgarden
    Peace Sells - Megadeth
    Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Head like a Hole - NIN

  • dudefella #13 4 years ago

BEst thing on that list is probably Comfortably Numb. That solo is orgasmic. Hope it's true.
  • Hermiod #14 4 years ago

"Our Truth" is by Lacuna Coil.
  • wiper #15 4 years ago

The few that immediately jumped out at me:

Gold Lion is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, I should imagine.

Possum Kingdom is The Toadies (assuming it's the same song as in GH2)

Zombie must be the Cranberries - and if so then I shall be very happy; it'll be /great/ to sing.

White Wedding is Billy Idol, or one of the many covers.

(I can't get no) Satisfaction is the Rolling Stones, I hope.

    Aqualung - Jethro Tull

Down With The Sickness - Disturbed.

Edit: removed the ones I noticed had already been mentioned.

Rainbow In The Dark is by Dio and it's an awesome song :)

Also clearly shows Fuel by Metallica too :D

  • Saturn_Ascends #17 4 years ago

That video showing the tracklist clearly shows 'Panic Attack' as by Finger Eleven, not Dream Theater.
  • MrMarbles #18 4 years ago

Hmm, it looks fishy to me too. Fuel's drumming is nowhere near as tough as that video suggests (it'd place it alongside Blackened on a Quick Play list).

Also: I want it to be fake as Hungry Like The Wolf isn't on the list.
  • Scuzz #19 4 years ago

    Judith - A Perfect Circle
  • sanctusmortis #20 4 years ago

The vid looks like a photoshop of the original leak image from G4TV with the G4 banner at the bottom chopped off and with the songs off the list someone posted on the earlier news post put on it. Evidence: the vid says it's Finger Eleven for Panic Attack, and Harmonix's press release on Kotaku confirms it as Dream Theater.

  • WittyPseudonym #21 4 years ago

Hyper Music by MUSE will be amazing, although I think it will be really hard to sing.

    Atomic by Blondie
  • gynsu2000 #22 4 years ago

    TNT - AC/DC
Testify - Rage Against the Machine
    American - Woman Lenny Kravitz
    Black Betty - Ram Jam
  • Muldoon #23 4 years ago

Gold Lion is indeed Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Float On is by Modest Mouse.
  • lucasmax #24 4 years ago

    /checks list

Hmmmm.... they seem to have misplaced Thin Lizzy's "whisky in the jar"......

    /throws girly strop

there are some gooduns on there tho, so it could have been worse.
  • Law07 #25 4 years ago

HYPER MUSIC!! OMG I HAVE TO GET THIS XD
  • daedalus2 #26 4 years ago

It's fake. Check out the typo - 'What's Your Frequency Kenneth?' The song title is "What's The Frequency, Kenneth"?
  • BigJonno #27 4 years ago

    Too good to be true.
  • polar #28 4 years ago

Sorry, but won't I be able to download these songs from the marketplace? EA are off their rocker if they think I'm buying another RB at full price, when all they're offering is a few more songs I'd like to play.
  • Mike1980 #29 4 years ago

Hope Folsom Prison Blues is true.

"I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die."

As Mark Radcliffe says... "If you don't like that, you don't like music."

Also, if you look at the difficulty level for each of the highlighted tracks, it doesn't go up in order as to how it should correspond with the tier the track is in.
  • Totoriko #31 4 years ago

  • BizarroAzrael #32 4 years ago

I believe The Bleeding is by the rather splendid Five Finger Death Punch, I can't tell you how excited they might be in the game, even if it's not the best song on the album if you ask me.

One Step Closer may be Linkin Park, or maybe just one of their lyrics. Fergot.
  • CARL05 #33 4 years ago

    Johnny Cash! Awesome!!!
  • wa_uk #34 4 years ago

testify - could be rage against the machine. the "what's your frequency, kenneth" bit does make it look dodgy though.
  • moggsy #35 4 years ago

Can't believe nobody else noticed this but you might want to have a look here.
  • Morrisseyxxx #36 4 years ago

Where is the British music. Ive had enough of the american pish in Rock Band and Guitar Hero. WHERE IS JOY DIVISION? WHERE ARE THE LIBERTINES?????
  • Freelancepolice #37 4 years ago

    It's fake people, calm down.

  • Xzyliac #39 4 years ago

Guys its fake. The vid has Finger Elevens Panic Attack listed when Dream Theaters was confirmed this morning. Zombie would've so made me weep joy. I WANT TO BELIEVE!
  • electrolite #40 4 years ago

Not the best track listing ever. Mind, it'll be irrelevant if they don't offer it to Wii owners anyway
  • barnard666 #41 4 years ago

I was hoping rodeo was the kyuss track...not bloody garth brookes....

not a particularly good track listing there...a bit too everything for everyone.
  • Exarch #42 4 years ago

One Step Closer should be Linkin Park, while White Wedding might be Billy Idol's song.
  • bag-in-box #43 4 years ago

    not much in there :\
Maiden, ac/dc, clash.. rest = meh
  • DuncDisorderly #44 4 years ago

'The Bleeding' - Damn I was hoping this would be the Cannibal Corpse song....

Though that would have been damn tricky to play :)
  • TONYgr #45 4 years ago

    LED ZEPPELINS HEARTBREAKER?????????????
  • Eraysor #46 4 years ago

I read Kickstart my Heart and practically exploded.
  • Ace_McCloud #47 4 years ago

Holy shit in the bed! Pants have cum all over them!
  • kangarootoo #48 4 years ago

I've also heard that the list is fake. Loads of mis-spellings apparently. Could feasibly be pre-QA, but unlikely as that sort of thing is unlikely to be entered by hand in the first place.
  • johnnybrn #49 4 years ago

Just wondering if there is anywhere I could play Hotel California by the Eagles on either RB or GH as I love that song
  • InsoFox #50 4 years ago

If this were real, It'd be very exciting and it does correspond with certain vague things that were said about the list in the Onion A.V. club article. But there's other evidence to suggest a fake.
  • optimusprym8 #51 4 years ago

If it reached my QA dept with that many spelling mistakes in, I would go and have a word with the Producer about their choice of staff. Clearly a fake, lovingly crafted but too many issues this close to release to be real.
  • InsoFox #52 4 years ago

If you go to the actual youtube video people have basically rumbled this as a fake. A reasonably good fake, and could have been speculated upon for longer if the faker hadn't made one or two big errors.
  • WinstonChurchill #53 4 years ago

It's amazing how many people still comment on stories without having read any of the previous comments.
  • Blackthorned #54 4 years ago

    Comfortably Numb! Hey hey!

But Heartbreaker? Is that the Free song because I though Zeppelin said no.
  • Saturn_Ascends #55 4 years ago

    @ WinstonChurchill

I was thinking the exact same thing.
  • shamblemonkee #56 4 years ago

    Bah, fake!! :(

'Cowbows from Hell' would be pure awesome beans.

  • Progguitarist #57 4 years ago

Definitly fake...no way would TNT by ACDC be in the blistering catagory.
  • Sir_TimAlot #58 4 years ago

man, when will one of these games have Plug in baby by Muse
  • bongofury #59 4 years ago

I hope its fake, november rain....., what about Paradise City, clearly the only GNR song thats needed.
  • SpyroViper #60 4 years ago

If this was in my QA department I would not even bother taking notice of it.
