Eidos grabs Ninja Gaiden PS3
Sneaky summer plans.
Eidos has confirmed that it will distribute Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PlayStation 3 this summer.
As you'll know if you've been stalking our previous coverage, Sigma brings together all the best bits of Ninja Gaiden: Black on Xbox along with revamped animations, backgrounds, enemies and characters, and promises 60fps performance in 720p resolution - as well as a hard-disk-install option to keep things running smoothly.
"This is a really exciting opportunity for [Eidos owner] SCi and Tecmo," Jane Cavanagh, SCi CEO, told the City. "Ninja Gaiden is one of the most respected game franchises around and now we have the opportunity to bring Ninja Gaiden Sigma to PS3 consumers throughout Europe."

Not when I will most probably be tearing my hair out whilst playing this game (on and off) throughout the summer months. All this 1080p is just something insignificant when only about 0.1-2% of the PS3 audience has a 1080p HDTV to play on.
I hope it is as good as I remembered. Yay for Eidos.
