HALF LIFE 2

half life for pc was a great game. it was the game of the year for 3 magazines for 2 years. it had so many muds it made your eyes bleed. now the sequal is out,and it kicks ass! the beautiful graphics run very smoothly on the somewhat dated xbox, and there are quite a few twists and turns of the plot.

its starts with the so called G-man talking about the past, and you are shown many machines behind him. the he vanishes and you start on a train. now you can move around, and look at the amazing in game visuals.Valve have said that they have created virtual muscles for the in game characters, to make them look more realistic. there are a load of enemies and friends, and they all look stunning. some of the enemies are robotic, others inhuman monsters. some deadly some not, and there are huge striders that can skewer you with there feet, or obliterate you with a giant laser.

this game is probably appealing to most people, and just maybye the best game for xbox to date. now we can only wait for upcoming xbox games such as black, with baited breath...

GRAPHICS- 9/10-some minute lag when a lot of things are happening at once.

SOUND-9/10-nice music and cool weapon effects make it sound like you are really there

GAMEPLAY-8/10-very good story line and some good twists and turns, yet rather short, i thought.

OVERALL- 10/10 it will last you a while AND will take your breath away with amazing visuals a must buy xbox title.
