Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves Reader Review

As usual, after a good game the hype eventually begins alerting people to the sequel, always promised to be better than the first. You hear about improved graphics, story, gameplay etc.

Well with uncharted it's all true. I read somewhere that 'dog, threw in multiplayer just to get the extra point or two but believe me multiplayer is damned addictive.

With the Plot, characters, storyline, quality of graphics and gameplay, Uncharted 2 sits up there with MGS4 as one of the top quality games that brings gaming closer to movies. This is the game you'll want to buy a PS3 to play.

The action is evenly spread and paced, from the fights on, in and around the train to the scene on the trucks to, well you get the picture. It's Jason Bourne meets Indiana Jones.

The switch between cut-scene and game play we saw in Resistance 2 is back here as seamless as you can get which just draws you more into the action.

And there's humour enough to keep the tone of the game on the entertainment side rather than the being just for the 'serious gamer'.

If like me, you thought it a bit strange to be playing a girl heroine (tomb raider) and finding that Indiana Jones was just a bit on the clean cut side of things, then Uncharted 2 will hit the spot very nicely.

I can confidently say that Uncharted 2 is a must play game. there are enough rave reviews out there that say pretty much the same thing. You may think, 'yeah well all fanboys rave about their favourite genre' But look closer and you'll see that unlike those other games, critics of this game are very hard to find. That in itself is proof that praise for Uncharted 2 is more than just your usual fanboy rave.

Multiplayer has deathmatch, competitive and c-operative modes to suit all tastes. And the ability to do free-form flythroughs of the game you just played is a magical bonus,especially when you can take a picture of any moment from any angle and any position to save for use later anywhere you like - al this means you can have a permanent record of your greatest moments or most hilarious failures in multiplayer.

Just get the game and be done with it already!
