The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar Reader Review

Reader Review by Devilutd01

24 April, 2009

I use to play SWG (Star War's Galaxie's)for four year's and made the jump to this game due to my bro playing this from the start and invited me with his buddy key to try a trial run and i fell in love with this game , I have found it very different from the Sci-Fi way of life with SWG but in a good way ,To get anywhere in this game take's friendship's which can be forged with a vast vareity of other race/class's from Hobbit's , Elven folk , Dwarf's to Men of Middle-Earth , So no zipping around the universe in a spaceship fighting the evil of an Empire ,It's back to when Men were Men an Horse back was the fastest way to travel , Unless you manage to tame a Moria Goat lol, It is by far one of the best game's i have come across , just the gameplay alone keep's me so busy with the infinte quests available , then there is the crafting , weapon's and armour and more, but also it's the many different people you meet on your journy in Middle-Earth , I have played other game's and some high level member's tend NOT to help (can hear the moaning but it's true) the lower member's but in Lord of the Ring's it's a totally different attitude, so i would deffinatly reccomend this game to any serious player to go out an buy this game and join us in our fight to save Middle-Earth from the clutch's of Sauron . I sure Mr Tolkien would be very proud of such a great game to bring his work to life , I wont spoil it but when you sit in the mine of Moria an take in the view's it look's awesome. Im not a member of turbine i play game's and this is a great game . Cant wait to see behind the black gate's of Mordor an mayb catch a glimps of the dread'ed Balrog , But till then il keep basshing Orc's and Goblin's and Dragon's he he to many to mention in one short review . and to prove who i am I am Candomir of Laurelin UK .

@DDevil

Bit harsh isn't it?

Admittedly it reads like a kid wrote it, but if it was a kid who wrote it then it's not too bad. Bit more practise and self-editing is needed, but anyone can improve if they try.

Also I'm sure I've read far worse reader reviews here.

That must be one of the longest sentences I have ever read on Eurogamer.

Did anyone else read it like it was a written version of Zero Punctuation?
