As a two year vet of SWG I have seen this game change for good and bad. With the latest release of the NGE (New Game Enhancements)my first and only full time MMORPG went to crap, the only way to explain it. I admit the combat system took a bit to learn, but that was the joy of the game and knowing that you mastered it. The new "twitch" base combat is no longer an mmorpg style and offers little more than a Jedi Academy combat feel. SWG has always lacked content, but previously players were able to make their own. The developers are claiming to have content coming out the cracks now, but they do not tell everyone there is little to no content for any one above level 30. This game is no longer for me and if you are intersted in this check out Jedi Academy instead, at least its free.

this isnt a review.... this is a rant :p

you should explain to me why the new combat system would want _me_ to play, as SOE have obviously made this move to entice new ppl to the game like me... its unfortunate that in the process they have alienated their original followers, but that doesn't mean that i want to read a bias view on it :)
