Eye of Judgment Reader Review

I wanted to love this game. I pre-ordered it as soon as I could, and couldn't wait for it to arrive. And what a disappointment.

The background music is horrendous (can we please have Microsoft's way of letting you play your own music during a game, Sony?). The graphics don't make use of the full screen resolution and the whole thing feels slow and clunky in places.

When you play online, the game shows you what card to draw for only a few seconds, and with an image that's different from the one on the card AND WITHOUT TEXT. This really has to be about the most rubbish design decision ever.

I can't help but feel that this game needed a proper designer to look after it. I hope there'll be a patch to at least solve the online play aspect. Improving the graphics to get more useful information on screen is probably too much to ask.

For now I'll stick to using the camera to play Magic: The Gathering against friends instead.
