Gears of War Reader Review

Gears of WARRRRRRRRRRRR as I like to say while walking around the house (don't we all) I bought GOW with a 360 bundle pack many months ago. I "beat" the game yesterday. I only started playing a couple of weeks ago, due to trying to get 100% on Just Cause (nearly there) and playing DMC 3. The first thing about the game is the look and style, I have a 50" wall mounted plasma tv, so it looked/looks stunning but I do have to say at first I found it had to distinguish between Felix and the boys and the grubs ect. The game is very fair with loads of check-points. I love third person games, which this is although it does play like a FPS.

Throught the five acts I felt as though I were playing a game version of War of the Worlds, which in case you are wondering is a very, very good thing.....so lets fast foward to Pale rider.....well I know a lot of you killed RAAM very easily, I didn't, in the end after many hours (well at least one) and countless obscenities, I asked my wife to help on coop mode. What a brilliant idea to allow any one to drop in at any point, anyway back to the wife we devised a great strategy to beat him, and..........what happend, the wife got killed very quickly, but she managed to fall at RAAM's feet, thereby blocking his charge, and I did the necessary,cue brilliant cut scene and bring on GOW2.

To conclude a great game with replay,good on line mode I'm led to believe (I will give it a go, once I stop playing Dead Rising)great girlfriend/wife co-op.
