EG Expo 2009: Surprise Splinter Cell demo

Conviction live at Ask Eurogamer session.

Ubisoft will be showing 15 minutes of exclusive Splinter Cell: Conviction footage this afternoon at the Eurogamer Expo.

The demonstration will take place during the Ask Eurogamer Session at 4.30pm. That can be found on the top floor of the Old Billingsgate building.

Following the Splinter Cell demo, Eurogamer editor Tom Bramwell and dep ed Ellie Gibson will be hosting the talk, fielding questions from attendees about this website you're reading and the industry on which it commentates.

The surprise Splinter Cell: Conviction walkthrough will be the first live demonstration we've seen since E3. That was when Sam Fisher's next adventure reappeared, redesigned and refreshed.

See it for yourself at the Eurogamer Expo 2009. Tickets are on sale at the door for £6.

    I just hope Benno that they arent so cheap to not show us asap just to be forcing more to go buy a ticket.. o.O I mean even from E3 we get feedback faster than we do for their own expo. Anyhw, cant wait to see detailed whats new :)

    Highlight of the (very good) show for me.

    Absolutely blown away.

    I suspect that it won't be on EGTV though, as it wasn't exactly a planned walkthrough, and may not have the sanctioning from the marketing higher-ups to be released here.

    Totally agree, SC: Conv was already on my radar before today but after watching the presentation from Ubisoft as he pulled all the moves off in a quick flowing motion it will def be going on the preorder list. A very nice bonus as we didn't realise it was being shown until we got inside. :-)

    The Splinter Cell demo completely blew me away, it was so awesome both in visuals and sound - I even saw a couple of girls cringe every time a guy got punched or shot, one of which was almost in tears when the guy on his own had his face smashed into the wall!

    Conviction has joined my most wanted list today!
