Echochrome out in US today

But still no word on a Euro date.

Unique-looking puzzler Echochrome is being released in the US today for both PS3 and PSP.

According to the PlayStation blog it will cost USD 9.99, whichever version you plump for.

As previously reported Echochrome is a physics-based puzzle game with simple graphics inspired by the art of M.C. Escher.

Americans will be able to buy it from today via the PSN Store or PC Store for the PSP. But a Sony spokesperson told Eurogamer, "We don't have a confirmed date for Europe I'm afraid."

Played the demo from the US store and it was a lot of fun.

Not impressed with the camera movement (quirky), and perhaps the black-and-white presentation may get boring after a while, but it has plenty of style. I especially found the woman's voice a good atmosphere-setter.

So if we set up a US master account we can buy this?

Why release it to the US first? They're too fucking stupid to play it.

You need someway of paying for the stuff, google entropay and you should get your answers. I already have the PSP version of this and I really enjoy it, I think it lends itself better on a small screen that a big HD telly.

Definatly worth getting, you can create your own content and share on PSP, if you can do that on PS3 as well it's well worth the piddly asking price.
