EA to publish Shank and DeathSpank
Indie downloadables due this year.
EA Partners has signed up DeathSpank and Shank for release on multiple download platforms this year.
DeathSpank is due out for PS3 and Xbox 360 this year. There's no word on a PC version any more, which is a shame.
However, the game's described as an epic adventure game that features loot, puzzle-solving, wit, loot, action and loot. It's being put together by Ron Gilbert of Monkey Island fame at Hothead Games.
Check out our DeathSpank preview from last year's Penny Arcade Expo to see why it's worth getting excited about.
Shank, meanwhile, is on its way to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this summer courtesy of Klei Entertainment.
It's a Western themed side-scrolling brawler with extremely slick graphics - slick enough, in fact, to get it nominated for an "Excellence in Visual Art" award at the Independent Games Festival next week.

and screenshots to see it in action.

I was looking forward SO MUCH to playing both of them. Let's see the DRM EA decides upon.

It really looked like it had great potential.
