E3: R.U.S.E works on MS touch-table News

Ubisoft's strategy game R.U.S.E works on the extremely expensive Microsoft Surface touch-table, which costs GBP 8500 without software.

The PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game is being demoed on the technology at E3, according to 1UP. Don't spill anything.

Microsoft Surface, unveiled in 2007, lets shops and businesses manage all sorts of multimedia files and computing on a giant touch-screen built into a table or surface.

Devices like phones and cameras and Zunes can be placed on the screen and automatically spill their digital innards for perusal. It's very clever.

Microsoft talked about the potential for gaming, but until now we've not seen a tangible example of it.

Not that R.U.S.E., a clever RTS based around deception, really needs the help - as last month's R.U.S.E. preview points out.

Pop over to the Microsoft Surface website for demonstrations and information - it's worth a look.

Fuck Surface, give us NATAL for our PCs so we can sit infront of our HDTVs and point our way to victory.

If Ubisoft ever decides to make EndWar 2 (which they should), they could make something seriously awesome with Natal and/or this.
