E3: Album-length Rock Band DLC
The Who up first.
Harmonix and MTV will be offering entire albums worth of downloadable content for the forthcoming Rock Band, with new material promised every week following launch.
The first album on offer will be The Who's Who's Next, as the developer and publisher commit to offering entire levels of digital content for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title on a regular basis.
"Offering entire albums for play on the Rock Band platform is a monumental step forward in Harmonix's ever present quest to provide new ways for people to interact with music and creating the most authentic music experience possible," commented Alex Rigopulos, CEO of Harmonix
The company has also announced the formation of an advisory board fronted by musician Steven Van Zandt, which will help the development team in the selection of artists, albums and tracks to be featured in the game.

So we'll pay them a couple hundred quid for all the isntruments, then the game and then we'll pay another 5 - 10 quid every week!
Now Rock Band is starting to sound liek the familiar EA branded cash cow we all know and love

£5 an album doesn't seem too badto me, depending on the length/greatness of said album of course.
I could see them selling the initial kit for a slight loss depending on how much money they think they'll make with the dlc.
