Not a looker from the screenshots, but still interested.

Sweet lord someone beat this game with the ugly stick.

    Crunchy! Yet somehow... still interesting.

Turnbased, D&D for a portable machine. You can make that work.

I'd been thinking D&D tactics would be a great game for a few years now, and was mighty pleased to hear they are doing one. I hope it doesn't suck

The 1990's called, they want their graphics back! :P

C'mon, it's D&D. It almost has to look bad. I think it might be in the rulebook.

15.c. All D&D games caught in the videogame's blast radius must take 6d12 automatic gfx damage points. All blue items that are not potions or gems are destroyed. Art style suffers -6 to all drawing rolls from here on in.

Actually, I think someone beat this game up with the entire ugly tree! Let me just verify that we didn't slip back in time... this is 2006 and this is on a PSP, right?

What the hell are you all complaining about? Dungeon Siege 2 and that other hack and slash (brotherhood / legend / blade thingy) don't look as good on the PSP and suffer from a super up close camera which has been intelligently avoided here.

All things being equal, guess we would all like a beautiful game. Difficult to tell from these enlarged screenshots. But any tactics fans won't give a monkey's if the game looks shit but plays beautifully...

Ah disc, I really meant D&D brand stuff, you know... stuff with "Dungeons & Dragons" in the title. But yeah, valid point :( those games do use the ad&d rules. I'll see your Baldur's Gate and raise you Nethack, though :)

Looks like the original Neverwinter with the lighting turned off.

It looks like this title has come along very nicely aesthetically now - alot better looking than Untold Legends & DS
  • Thamuhacha #13 5 years ago

Looks better than it did. I'm interested.

I will bet any money that the loading times are horrific though :-(
  • dirigiblebill #14 5 years ago

    Looks much smoother.

There's certainly no shortage of tactics RPGs for psp. With this and the rather excellent looking FFT multiplayer on the way my wallet is starting to itch...

Holy crap, they've improved that a bit, eh?

No idea if it'll play any good though.
  • dirigiblebill #16 5 years ago

Is it me or do the indoor screens look like they're running on a much better game engine?
  • dirigiblebill #17 5 years ago

I watched the Dungeons and Dragons movie last night. So wrong yet so right.

    Release the fecker, bitches.
