unless it costs a million Microsoft points, this is an instant purchase for me, co-op and dukematch over xbl should be sweet

I probably will get this for the soundtrack alone. Not just the title theme but the entire game features really excellent music. I bought this on the N64 as well. I was quite disappointed when I found out that it had no music but the single player game is pretty good anyway and I still enjoyed it. It was the first time I played it properly, when I was younger and those games were new I played all of them using cheats most of the time.

yea, does anyone know if it has been tarted up at all, Marathon style? I think its a requirement for all XBLA games that they must be tarted up somewhat though isn't it?

Now we all just have to beg to Monolith to make an XBLA version of Blood. Then with Doom, Duke 3D and Blood (if they ever whould make it) i whould be happy happy joy joy.

I played a lot of Duke 3D back in the days over lan. When we weren't playing Warcraft 2, we were playing Duke 3D. Those were the days. I'm intrigued to see how this turns out, hopefully it's a bit touched up. Although I'm sure it won't be any worse than Doom.

I'd love a Rise of the Triad as well, though.

These were the days where FPSs were fun.

Actually, it was but apparently is was done properly so you didn't notice.

I seriously hope they included expansion packs as well and included all the later things such as the awesome full coop version on the n64.

Yes it was. It was given a HD make-over which made it look a little less pixelated and run smoother overall.

MattyD: Neither of those games were the first 1200 MSP game though. Off the top of my head both Rez and Puzzle Quest were 1200MSP and came before both of them.

I'd never get this for 1200. 800 maybe, if I'm drunk and I hear there's lots of online action going on (but still prolly not). 400 would be a sure fired shot, though.

I doubt it'll be 1200. Most XBLA games are still 800, believe it or not. It's been a few that have been 1200.
