Dragon Age: Origins delayed till Nov

PS3 version to follow Xbox 360 and PC.

Dragon Age: Origins, the latest title from RPG specialists BioWare, has been delayed - but only a bit.

The game had been due to launch in late October. However a BioWare spokesperson has since told IGN it will launch in Europe on 6th November for PC and Xbox 360. The US will get the game three days earlier.

"The PlayStation 3 version will follow later in November," the spokesperson added.

You can find all manner of Dragon Age: Origins articles, videos and screenshots over on the gamepage.

Bugger. At least it's still this year... but on the other hand, it doesn't do me much good because I won't be here in November!

Let's hope Alpha Protocol is still on for October, otherwise it's going to be a very empty month (apart from Brutal Legend of course!).

I had no idea this was even coming to the PS3. Cool.

@TheTingler Good taste! Looking forward to those three a great deal myself! Plus the new GTA download. Glad my girlfriend is going to be in the states in October/November! ;-)

You're a little late on that EA jab, perhaps 10 years ago that would have applied, but EA do awesome work these dies, and publish some of the best games around. So I'll fix that comment for you..

The Christmas showdown is coming, who is going to win? Let's hope not Activision :)

Haven't you heard? Activision already won the Christmas showdown.

Phew! I had a horrible feeling this was going to be delayed into next year, glad to see it's only a couple of weeks after the original release date!! Really looking forward to this game, I have high hopes it'll be another great Bioware RPG. Like others have mentioned though, I'm getting equally excited by Alpha Protocol, the more I see of that game, the more I want to play it!! I'm glad that I'll be able to enjoy a fantasy based, swords and spells RPG this year, alongside (the first ever?) espionage/spy RPG with guns and gadgets! 2009 is picking up a bit after all the delays some games have had into 2010!

That's on my birthday. I guess that won't be the worst gift I've ever bought for myself :).

glad to see it's still coming in 2009. I don't give a fuck about COD6 and Halo3.5, and was a bit pissed that everything got delayed to 2010, especially red dead and bayonetta. But this + alpha protocol + assassin's creed 2 equal to a decent fall 2009 line-up for me.

I love how everything takes longer on the PS3; I love the thing and all, but it's sad how tough Sony apparently makes it to develop on.

I know for sure that the 360 version of the game has been on testing for months now while they haven't even started work on PS3... that can't be a good thing.
