    You'd have thought they might be able to manage 3D characters on the PS3 really. 2D cardboard cut-outs seem a little 1995 these days.

    (and yes I do know Disgaea is a great game and I do own the original)

    Have to agree. I liked the original but, only put up with the graphics BECAUSE it was pushing so many sprites on a PS2.

    On next gen hardware this just looks lame

    Why for fucks sake would they downgrade it to 3D and suck all the life and charm out of it? Get a goddamn clue. There are plenty of dead plastic looking ZOMG 3D POLYGOEN GEAMS out there for you. Go play those.

    Hmm, looks kinda lowres - I am all for 2D, but they should make it at least @ 720p, this looks more like PSP release...
