I want to hug that man for what he said about the isometric perspective. Way too many games give the player too much control about the camera, when a reasonably static perspective would work so much better.

Apart from that: I want this. More than any other game.

I was out! I didn't have to go back to Diablo every day, I could go for as long as I wanted without needing to get loot by the bucketload! I have a feeling that will all change when this is released.

Although I could never get into Diablo 2 as much. No idea why, it was pretty much the same, but I couldn't get on with it.

March 27 2009 according to Play.com. And we all know those release dates are always set in stone.

As for the bloke, nice to read an interview with someone from "the industry" who isn't a complete tosser. But I'm sure there'll be the inevitable Mark Rein world domination interview coming up shortly to make up for that blunder!

Wow, all of a sudden I wish Generic Age had a fixed isometric camera.

EG, great set of questions. Don't worry about asking for a release date, they would not have answered you anyway on it. You guys did awesome in asking about the art situation.

I was mildly interested in Diablo 3 till I read the stuff he says about health drops, location in combat and the influence of action games. Now I'll probably buy on release - they know EXACTLY what was wrong with Diablo 2, and they're doing it better. Want.
