Design a Bionic Commando level
Live forever in downloadable Rearmed.
Capcom can't be bothered to design its own games any more and wants you to do it. Well, to design a level in Bionic Commando Rearmed. It was only a matter of time [and distortion - Ed].
As explained on the Capcom US blog, the team is planning to bring one lucky designer's challenge-mode level design to life, or rather use "your idea as the inspiration for a finished level". Your name will go in the credits and your level in the game.
Bionic Commando Rearmed is the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC-based remake of the old NES Bionic Commando game where you swing around 2D levels using your grapple-hook arm thing and shoot people.
Obviously the game isn't finished or out yet though, so you will need to do it the old-fashioned way with pen and paper, or some sort of fancy computer graphics package. Once you've done that, you can email it to contest@capcom.com. And yes, you can even enter from Europe.
The contest runs until 8am GMT on 13th March and there's an image showing you which level elements are available to use within the Capcom blog post.
Then, if you win, you'll be immortalised in-game when it pitches up this May.

own levels for bionic commando sounds cool, But I think
there a catch, I think capcom are secretly recruting
level designers, Because the ones working at capcom
are reaching retirement, What do you lot think?
