Hmmmm... I wonder if it'll have a lot of the wealth of races that the (somewhat dodgy) expansion packs added to DoW or will we have to buy them again (although I could do without a lot of them tbh). Also will it have a decent campaign or will it simply be an extended tutorial before going online.

No man that died in the Emperor’s service died in vain.

Mmm ... I wasn't going to buy soulstorm, but now it looks far more inviting.

The offer of a DoW2 beta invite for purchasers of Soulstorm is a nice way of apologising for the fact that SS is a bug-ridden mess ;)

Oh, it'll be grand! I am betting they will use lot's of the technology used in CoH, albeit with more bells and whistles added. Imagine a dreadnought smashing it's way through imperial ruins just so he can outflank a bunch of pansy Orks and smack their bare, green bottoms!

How exactly did Red Alert 3 "pioneer" an idea that was blatantly in Red Alert 2:Yuri's Revenge?

Well theyve said all along the only reason DoW didnt have them was because they didnt think the engine did it justice. I'd be very suprised if they weren't the main enemy of the main campaign in DoW2.

Excellent news, but I hope they sort out the online side of things. The gamespy system they have been using for original DoW is woeful.
