Beta today? But Tom said earlier "THQ also plans to begin a multiplayer open beta on 28th February following an exclusivity period for owners of Dawn of War expansion Soulstorm, which starts tomorrow. "? Are you saying he's wrong? I am.
I don't think there should ever be paid-for DLC within the first few weeks of release, it's cheeky. If it's free, I can appreciate the publisher gave them a deadline for the game, and they held some maps back to make sure the boxed product was refined enough to release. |

cant think of any other game with creatures like the tyranids in...
oddly enough I can think of the Zerg from Starcraft... edit Yes I know Tyranids came before Zerg... and something was probably around before hand upon which Tyranids were based but my knowledge of Warhammer 40k etc is limited...

Tyranids 'got there' before Zerg. That's for the record, just to cut the fan boys off. I was really excited for DoW2, confident it would destroy Starcraft2 but from early previews, it hasn't shaped up to what it was expected to be. But I trust Relic, my pre-order stays. If it's anything similar to CoH, it's gonna be great! |

Sneetch, did you get the tin or the standard edition? The tin. Or at least that's what I asked for and they assured me I'd get it, they seemed a bit vague and confused about it all though so I wouldn't be surprised if I show up on the day and they try to give me the standard edition.
