I hope they dare make this an action game with real exploration and no flashing arrows or golden breadcrumb trails to spoil it.

How I long for something like Shadowman or Soul Reaver with current age technology..

Heh, that's actually a pretty good shot - although it's probably leaning even more towards Zelda than Soul Reaver (you really need to see the inventory screen)

I have been looking forward to this for bloody ages. I really hope it lives up to its potential but to be honest I was always going to buy it for the artwork by Joe Madureira (Deadpool/X-Men/Ultimates) I just never thoutgh it would actually get finished as he is creative director and is notorious for missing deadlines and then having projects canned.

Sooo... the four horsemen are now Strife, Fury, War and Death? That is pretty lame and same-y.

Looking forward to this a lot.

I like the hack'n'slash genre but am always wishing I could do objectives in a more free-roaming manner. That's what made Viking such a great game.

If they can steer clear of ruining the game with QTE's then even better! There's no place for QTE's anywhere anymore, in any context for any reason. Ever.

Yeah, I've also been looking out for this. Nice to know it's still on track with some new gameplay details.

Though shame about the name changes for Pestilence and Famine. I loved those guys.

Yes, I agree, although I wouldn't mind a subtle help system that goes, "Pssst! It's behind the throne, you dumbass!" if it detects that I've been going in circles for 10 minutes. ;)

I'm really looking forward to this, the picture of Death on the front page strongly reminds me of 2000AD. Specifically, the guy who did ABC warriors.

I loved shadowman back in the day! I completely forgot about the games existence though.... so maybe it wasnt as good as i remember it...... But this game looks like it might be quite good. Have to keep an eye on this one.

fuck all this shit, I want another might and magic game old style for console. Hell, they can even release MMVII for psn for 10 bucks and I'd still buy it. I'd love to see those awesome grainy sprites stretched like some gone wrong picture on my 42'' HD screen:D

Also, the insane challenge was great. Those dungeons were sometimes so silly you'd HAD to use guides.

as long as it can be deactivated that's fine by me... I don't like being presented with a fun, original puzzle knowing the game may spoil it any time if it thinks I'm not progressing fast enough ;)

Oh that would be the best day ever if this were to come true! I loved both games, but Shadowman was something else - so atmospheric, and damn right creepy in places, I still have fond memories of the level where you're hunting one of the serial killers down in a run-down house...
