Dark Messiah for Xbox 360 dated

While Nitrobike Wii slips a bit.

Ubisoft has spread word that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements will be out on 8th February.

It was one of a handful of titles to be dated by the publisher in its latest release schedule.

Joining it were tumbles from a pair of Wii offerings: Nitrobike sliding from 18th January to 8th February, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Hard Evidence - CSI: CSI as we might call it - that fell from January back to 14th March.

Elsewhere Haze is still lurking in Q4, or not before April in financial speak, but the DS is being given Figure Skating in March so everything is OK.

Good... I liked the demo. I am in dire need of a Fantasy Slash em up ;)

The headline makes it sound like the game is already passe.

I liked the demo too. It makes a refreshing change from all the war/space shooting. ES5 should take note of the combat. Oblivion like this would have been awesome.

I wasn't too keen on the demo. The multiplayer was extremely frustrating

    >The multiplayer was extremely frustrating

Yeah that was a bit weird.

I am hoping the full game will have more interesting multiplayer... but TBH I would get it for the single player.

I didnt try the multiplayer but I've been waiting ages to try a fantasy FPS multiplayer game, MMOG pvp has always been great so looking forward to trying that.
I liked the single player demo a lot but had a bit of trouble spotting items on my SD TV.
    Will be getting this.

Is Dark Messiah still down as a 360 exclusive? Because I saw footage of it on GamerTV recently, and the button prompts coming up on screen were clearly the PS triangle and square.

I bought the PC version for a fiver from Toysrus last week. I have only played for a couple of hours but it is fun. More games need a kick button.

I thought the 360 demo was good, particularly as I think the game plays better with a controller, but the UI is slightly dumbed down from the PC version which I already own (it cost me just £12) nor does it look as good graphically (I run the game at 1680x1050) so there's little point in me buying it again. I'd recommend it to people who haven't played or cannot play the cheaper PC version though.

I tried the demo and was hugely underwhelmed, so much so that I'm not going to bother getting this now :/

It looked so good as well, but the controls were just plain rubbish and it just didn't "feel" right.

    Yes.

Sure it was same game? Linky?

    - Sure it was same game? Linky?

It was definitely the same game but I don't have a link, or know where I might get one. Will have a look later and post here if I find anything.
