Dark Messiah for 360
New Elements game is port.
Ubisoft has revealed at its event in Paris that Dark Messiah of Might & Magic Elements is an Xbox 360 title.
It will be a port of the game that appeared on PC last year, but with new and additional content.
Elements will be shown to press throughout today, so expect Tom's impressions as soon as he can barge his way in.
A logo for the game appeared on the "Ubidays" brochure yesterday, leading press to speculate whether it was an expansion or a console version of the game.
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is a first-person fantasy action game from Arkane Studios. It was built on Valve's Source engine and makes clever use of physics: allowing you to freeze the ground to make your enemies go arse-over-elbow, for instance.
Head over to our Dark Messiah review to see why it was just what the fantasy market needed.

Though it didn't turn out to be as fantastic as the early videos seemed to promise it reviewed solidly.

Wait a minute, that's my argument for not buying the 360, don't just turn it around!
DMOM&M is great - yeah, the story is a bit lame, but it's a ton of fun, with some great level design and attention to detail.

"Suspension of disbelief" is not a dirty word you know. So long as its fun, I don't care where the orcs stand.

Could the kicking be exploited a bit too much? Yes, probably. Does this break the game in any way, unless you yourself decided to exploit it? No.

Oh well, the console chaps can have a go on it, enjoy it, then Ubi will commission an expansion for the PC on the back of the increased interest
