Crystal Quest XBLA update tomorrow
And confirmation of Poker Smash.
Microsoft has confirmed that Void Star's puzzle game Poker Smash will be on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow, while Crystal Quest fans receive a free update.
As reported last week, Poker Smash is about arranging cards into poker hands as they advance up the screen, and costs 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).
Crystal Quest, you may remember, is Stainless Games' arcade update where you fly around collecting crystals and dodging enemies. Tomorrow's update adds a score multiplier.
"This update will make the game slicker and faster than before and opens up the possibility of even higher scores!" according to some words on Major Nelson's blog.
"The score multiplier increases every time gamers pick up a crystal, but failing to pick up a crystal or getting zapped negates the multiplier.
"To keep a level playing field, old Leaderboards will be retired after the update, but will still be viewable for posterity's sake.
"The update also includes improvements to downloadable content, which is part of Stainless Games' ongoing commitment to constantly improve the player experience."
Hurrah then. Check out our Crystal Quest review for more. The full game costs 400 Microsoft Points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.80).
