Looking good, although I did hope that the car would look more like KITT, as opposed to just a modified Carson GT...

I think they've already annoucned the restart in one of their big patches, but everyone still goes on about it like the short drive back to the start causes them pain. I agree, it's a bad idea and would kill the flow of Freeburning around, but I also agree it'd be nice to have the option, at least to stop the whiners :p

Yep! I had gussed that one of them was KITT by the name that was announced earlier.
As far as the restarts go, it would definitly enhance the racing element of the game. There are loading screens in multiplayer races, so they wont break the game. It's already broken in terms of racing with poor navigation aids and a lack of restarts IMHO. The interesting thing about this DLC, is that everyone who plays online will have to download it anyway - in order to see the new cars. Will be tempting..! I reckon that once the restarts are added to race events, that I'll put in some serious effort to progress in this

The mini-map would be more useful if it would rotate so that your icon always appeared to be travelling upward - like the GTA mini-map. I don't play Paradise anymore - I wish they stuck with track-based races.

Totally agree with Ryze, Law07 & kingofspoons.
I purchased this game even though i hated the demo, i love all the previous burnout games with a passion (my favourite racing series of all time), however i still can not get on with this game, tried again over christmas to get into it but after 2 hours my best finishing position was about 6th. The mini map rotating around & restarts would help, whats the problem with driving back to the start line i hear you say, well when i've fucked the race up near the finish i can't remember where i started. Its a real shame i haven't been able to get into this game, for the few moments i've played it & not had to look at the map to see where i'm going (which usually ends up in a crash) the racing is probably the best of the whole burnout series!
