If you're being serious then you come across as a serious fanboy. I thought they'd all died out but, clearly not. Neither uncharted 2, metal gear nor call of duty are open world games and wouldn't have had the graphics they do if they were. Crackdown was a great game and if crackdown 2 is as good, then people are in for a treat.

I'm going to assume your post is just an attempt at humour given the timesplitters remark as otherwise you'd be someone who ignores gameplay solely in favour of visuals, which is just plain stupid.

Infamous is a open world game and looks miles better, and is out for almost a year. It has tons of details, highres textures, lots of graphic effects. Sorry but CD2 looks really like a Wii game at this time.

Infamous isn't a bad game, but it borrows heavy from Crackdown. However, it never managed to reach its heights.
I'm a graphics whore, but I suggest you play crackdown properly.
For me Crackdown is one of the most under rated and important games of this generation.
I'm a little worried MS are pushing for an early realise to combat the PS3 resurgence.
All that said, Crackdown 2 could be another classic

I don't really care, but I'll say one thing: the fact that this looks like shit is not because of graphics tech, limitations because it's an open world (GTAIV looked infinitely better), or anything like that. It's just that the artwork is horribly bad.

I love crackdown, my unexpected gem of the decade, but this is fugly. Until I checked the platform I believed this was some kind of newly announced mobile version. :/ I hope it looks better in motion than these screenies have led me to believe. Whatever the case as long as it's at least half the game Crackdown 1 was, I'm buying it
