Condemned 2, Superstars Tennis demos News

PlayStation 3 Xbox 360 News by Robert Purchese

25 March, 2008

SEGA has unleashed Condemned 2 and SEGA Superstars Tennis demos on the US PlayStation Store.

Xbox Live and European PSN versions should be arriving soon, according to a spokesperson for the publisher. Presumably exact dates depend on certification by Sony and Microsoft.

However, if you fancy a bit of forgery, you can apparently pretend you live in the United States and grab the existing demos right now.

Not that you should need to test either of the games, given that we have reviewed both SEGA Superstars Tennis and Condemned 2 already.

It's as frustrating as Everybody's Tennis.

Even moreso with the characters special abilities.

I rather enjoyed Sega Superstars Tennis. The minigames are fun too.

I still remember your Blue Dragon review, EG. :)

Given that your review of Condemned 2 was the 360 version, anyone contemplating a purchase of the PS3 version is going to want to try it. Dumb comment really.

Did I log into AmericanGamer by mistake?

This news, and the headline, has a distinctly non-European bent to it.

Very misleading EG, tut tut...

@rdexter - I agree with you. I mean, OK, so Condemned 2 isn't out while the 4th April here but why didn't they put the SEGA Superstars Tennis demo on the UK PSN Store at least, the game came out last Thursday/Friday so it would have served its purpose better? I'm glad I have a US account because the UK PSN Store is a shambles in comparison... why are we still waiting for the Shivering Isles download, it was released as part of the Oblivion GOTY edition some while back and the Yanks had it before Christmas? :?

First you tell us the demo of Condemned 2 is on Live when it isn't, then you tell when the Americans can have it. When are we actually going to get it?

Downloaded the Condemned 2 demo from US PSN, there seems to be a frame rate and audio problem with either the game on PS3 or the demo, audio cuts out quite a lot when entering new areas of the game and the frame rate chops down something chronic. Hopefully these issues are not representative of the final game on the PS3 or else there is one more game to add to the "Fucked on the PS3 list"
