Conan PVP consequences "very soon"
Funcom hoping for "early next week".
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures game director Craig Morrison has said Funcom hopes to add the long-awaited player-versus-player consequences system to the game "early next week".
Speaking to Eurogamer earlier this week, Morrison said, "It's very, very soon. It's been on the test server for three or four weeks, and we're actually doing final tests on it this morning [Tuesday], as I speak to you. The hope is that if it's not this week, it'll be early next week."
The notoriety system is the second half of an overhaul of the game's PVP. The overhaul began by adding PVP levelling and incentives, but the lack of consequences and factions to balance this out has made the Age of Conan quite an unfriendly place to be in recent weeks.
Also coming in the imminent update are major changes to the combat and crafting in Age of Conan.
We'll let you know when as the patch drops as soon as we do.

I'm sorry but all he has said since he started talking on the forums is "It's ready when it's ready", it's a standing joke in our guild, So far we have seen squat fromt he new game director and whilst he does endeavour to post on the forums he might as well not bother as he tells us absolutely nothing.
Many of us could care less about the second PVP update, we've been sat at level 80 in a content barren wasteland amusing ourselves by raiding bugged encounters for loot that sucks, FC are just too darn slow, they promised Ymir's Pass for summer and we're heading into winter now, and the fact remains that Ymir's pass is level 55-60, they told us they were concentrating on levels 55-60 because there studies showed that as being were players would benefit the most, a casual player can level to 80 inside a month, who in their right mind would still be at level 55 5 months after launch? He also stated they prioritsed itemisation at an early stage, if that's the case why have we seen no changes whatsoever? Funcom if you release content/patches any slower you'll start going backwards.

You know, I think your definition of "casual" may differ wildly from everyone else's. And reality, for that matter.
I'm not defending Funcom on this, as such, but I think your perspective of how people play these games might be a little skewed...

I hope they include Morrison's +5 Carrot on a Stick.

Apparently there's also some exploit that people were using in PvP that has since been fixed but has given a major advantage to players who used it, yet Funcom have taken no action against these players. Presumably as they're the only people left playing...
Nice one, Funcom...
