The action in RTS games seems to be getting faster and more hectic at a rate inversely proportional to my ability to do things quickly.

I hate it when developers do that. Global Conquest mode was awesome. But y'know, if it aint going over too well with your console focus groups, put something else in as well. Don't can it and replace it with some other crap.

It's more money for what is perceived as a full game, as opposed to a 4 hour add on pack (on the PC), discounting "Kane's Challenge", or whatever the identical game mode was called in C&C Generals...
