Combat Arms beta codes on Friday!

Thousands of keys for online PC FPS.

Eurogamer has teamed up with Nexon to offer thousands of keys for the European closed beta of Combat Arms, its fast-paced, free-to-play online FPS for PC.

The closed beta for Combat Arms Europe begins next Tuesday, 28th October. However, you'll be able to collect your key and reserve a spot for two consecutive weeks of fictional-cold-war mayhem this Friday, October 24th, at 1pm.

Eurogamer is the exclusive beta partner for Combat Arms across the whole of Europe (excluding Germany, where the beta giveaway's being handled by another site). You'll be able to grab your keys from Eurogamer.net in the UK, Eurogamer.fr in France, Eurogamer.nl in the Benelux countries, Eurogamer.pt in Portugal, the just-launched Eurogamer.es in Spain... and maybe more too (watch this space!). We'll have 10,000 keys to give away on Eurogamer.net alone.

Combat Arms is a pacey and brutal PC shooter from the makers of free-to-play MMO sensations MapleStory and KartRider, which launched in the US earlier this year. It takes the tried-and-true gameplay of CounterStrike and its ilk, and melds it with the character levelling and customisation of an MMO.

It will also run on practically any PC - yes, even that old thing - so you've no reason not to try it out.

To get a better feel for the game, take a look at videos of the levels, character customisation , teaser trailer and gameplay.

See you at 1pm on Friday. Try not to break the site this time, OK?
