COJ dev still working on Dead Island
It's coming along nicely, says Techland man.
Techland has confirmed survival horror game Dead Island is still in development, even though nothing's been seen or heard of it for nearly a year now.
"I can understand how impatient our fans must be to see more news and assets from Dead Island," Techland's Blazej Krakowiak told G4TV.
"Unfortunately our agreement with the game’s worldwide publisher imposed a media silence on us. All we are allowed to say is that the game is in development and doing great and that all future updates regarding the game will come directly from the publisher."
It's all so top secret there isn't even any word on who that publisher is. And all we've seen of Dead Island so far is a tech demo, some screenshots and the trailer released last August.
Techland previously produced Call of Juarez, which scored a highly respectable 8/10 on Eurogamer. The sequel, COJ: Bound in Blood, managed to pull off a healthy 7/10.
