COD4 beta registration tonight
At zero-hundred hours, soldier.
Early registrations for the Call of Duty 4 multiplayer beta on Xbox 360 will begin tonight at midnight.
The news was hidden in the official website forums, and said lucky sign-ups could be playing as soon a handful of hours later.
"We've been playing the beta internally, and it's so much fun [that] we are dying to play with you," read the post. "So, let's blow off waiting for the site and just consider this the countdown; there will be a way for people to register for the beta starting 5pm PDT tomorrow."
"Some of those will be playing as early as tomorrow night - tick tock tick tock."
But you won't all be let in at once, more and more people will be added over time – with roughly a new wave included every day. It also isn't the only way into the beta, so don't panic.
Keep your eyes on the CharlieOscarDelta site tonight for more information.
Meanwhile you can head over to our Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare gamepage to see why everyone is so excited.

Preamble:
We worked hard to get this beta done July 26th. Since then we've been working on logistical issues, MS cert, what would be involved to make everything work internationally, number of keys, and a bunch of other boring non-game stuff. Most of it is just related to being the first 3rd party console game to offer a beta.

"To be eligible for a token-you must be 18 years of age or older, punctual and capable of answering three trivia questions correctly. Yes, punctual. To be fair, we're doling out the tokens on a first come first serve basis. We're still finalizing plans for where the Beta will be available. Initially, in order to get underway we'll be rolling-out in the United States. As soon as we're able to confirm which other countries are good to go we'll be back to update everybody."
Great idea to keep us in the loop Eurogamer, but surely actually check the beta first and report it's US only for the time being, no?

"No, its US FIRST you fuck tards - stop moaning FFS. They say they are still finalising the other countries - no mention of US only.
Jeez, talk about jumping to conclusions."
Lovely. Calling people names on the internet does make you seem big and clever by the way, no matter what anyone says. I don't know what a "fuck tard" is (some sort of obscene Dr Who reference?) but perhaps that's half the fun for you, making up special words only you know for your glorious internet jousting and triumphs each day.
Surely though, you can understand why non-US COD fans would feel annoyed and disappointed to have been excluded from the beta? Even if it is just temporarily, no date has been set for opening up the beta to non-US players.

By the language of bdaggers post, its quite possible he's a yank.
If my assessment is correct, he will be unable to grasp any form of xbox bias as he's never been on its receiving end. Well done for responding to the idiot in a diplomatic way. I can't abide that type of person either.
