Shots from the new Colosseum expansion:

The new design interface includes "sliders" that allow players to change the size of specific areas of the body, including legs, chest, head and arms. The interface also gives more options for providing colours to specific costume pieces, such as gloves.

Also, Cryptic has included more costume styles with Asian influences including styles reflecting popular anime, martial arts and manga looks.

When City of Heroes, Issue 4 is released in the coming weeks, players can create new characters with the new costume options, and existing characters can visit the Icon tailor stores in Paragon City to update their costumes with the new features.

So, basically it now includes a breast inflater?

    Hmmmmm ...

Do these sort of press releases come with 'attempting to divert attention from new MMORPG launch' stickers? There's always a flurry of pointless MMORPG related news when something big happens in the online game world.

City of Heroes - now with pink gloves! ;)

How did I miss the auras option when I was in Icon on the Test Room last night?

Hmm I'll have to pop back...

The arenas look rather nice too.

    Auras? Are you 30 now?

Anyway, I think you have to go and do an Aura mission, like the cape mission, before you unlock the aura options, so maybe its that bird in city hall again.

@Sko - this may seem like some random pointless news to you, but actually the issue 4 launch is long awaited by CoH players, and I think it is pretty much a coincidence when it has launched.

Right, yes, I know they're all character customising screenshots, but, but...

These newest shots show CoH's manga influences, with the manga models there for comparison.

It's okay, Bertie. Character creation is the most interesting part of CoH, anyhoo.
