Charts: GTA IV and Wii Fit unstoppable
Full all-formats top 40 inside.
Grand Theft Auto IV and Wii Fit have spent a third week at the top of the UK all-formats chart.
Both dropped nearly 50 percent in sales, but still had enough in the tank to see off Mario Kart Wii - which boosted from nine to three.
Then, inevitably, came the pounding feet of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games at four, followed by Wii Play at five.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 gained half-a-yard to make six, out-flanking consistent best sellers Call of Duty 4 at eight and Brain Training at nine.
Guitar Hero III managed to finish with a flourish to climb from 11 and round the chart off at 10.
Meanwhile, two week-old Boom Blox managed to finally make the list at 21, despite critical acclaim and being a big name collaboration with Steven Spielberg.
Two other fortnight-old titles managed to break into the Top 40 as well: High School Musical: Work This Out at 14, and Speed Racer at 37.
Top Trumps: Doctor Who was the only new entry at 22.

Yep - same with Mario Kart. Very suspicious. Are they counting pre-orders?

Yes, but hardly a surprise for anyone with half a brain cell and no fanboy allegiance (though one might be a prerequisite for the other)...

Les about MS: "There's no reason to 'hate' MS as a brand/company. It's leadership is at fault. It has shown gross misconduct towards its customers and for that it deserves nothing but contempt. Defending indefensible behavior is real stupidity, even if it's against the vogue... "

Which is a shame, since it's the best selling version of the game - 10th in the individual format charts, with the PSP next down in 32nd.
