Champ Man for iPhone "shortly"
Football sim to relive glory years.
A top secret source has told Eurogamer that Championship Manager will be available for iPhone and iPod Touch "shortly".
A price wasn't mentioned, but the source doesn't "expect it'll be too much". And who are we to ask questions.
According to The Times, the iPhone version of Champ Man will use a 2D match engine and feature hordes of stats to tie brains in knots.
It's unclear what control scheme the game will use, but screen touching is likely to be involved.

"why no DS version?"
Pick any two from : it's got a bloody small screen, no storage to speak of and processing power equivalent to some calculators.

Unless they go for a football manager live solution where the player and league database is accessed through the internet.
Which now that I think about it is a great idea. It is a phone after all.

And I echo AlMcD's sentiments: needs to load fast and save fast. Two things that neither CM or FM have really ever done.
Not that it mattered when I was putting off writing my dissertation, but more important when I am on a train.
