PC only, starts in November.

Cryptic Studios has opened applications for the closed beta for its superhero action MMO, Champions Online.

The beta applies only to the PC version of the game (it's being released for Xbox 360, too), and starts in mid-November.

You can sign up at the official Champions site.

Champions Online is slated for a spring 2009 release, and will be published by Take-Two. You can find more info - including hands-on impressions - on the gamepage.

Strange as it sounds, but there are too many damned games coming out! I wish I had time to apply, as CoH is a great game and CO looks the perfect sequel.
