Castle Crashers King Pack out today
DLC brings characters, weapons, spell.
Xbox Live Arcade hit Castle Crashers gets new downloadable content in the form of the Castle Crashers King Pack at 9am GMT today.
The pack costs 160 Microsoft Points (GBP 1.36 / EUR 1.92) and introduces two new characters, the Open Faced Grey Knight, and the knight leader, the King.
There are also three new weapons (including the Gold Sword) and a new seal animal orb called Pelter. More useful, perhaps, is a spell called the King's Heal which heals the entire party.

Regardless, I (and my kids) join Whitehead Jr. in having waited bloody months for this, even if it is only half of what we'd hoped for.

That was fixed with previous patch.

That was fixed with previous patch.
I'll personally collect their heads if they don't... oh, never mind then.

160 M$ Points for an unlock key to something you already paid 1200 M$ Points for?
Can you spell RIP OFF people!?
Yes, it's hyphenated so it's rup-off.
Damn. My up-arrow and delete keys are brokzn!
What makes you think it's already in the game? It's a cheap little pack that adds a few new weapons a new pet and a couple of new playable characters, note the 'playable' distinction, the king may already be in the game (may be, is it the old guy with the four hawt daughters?) but that doesn't mean he's fully animated and capable of jumping, swimming and so on.
DLC like this suckers me back into these games that otherwise linger half completed (well 75% completed) so I'll buy it for a couple of bucks; The Behemoth can consider it a tip for a great little game.
Edit: just so you know, it's -200 Taking-You-Seriously points when you write M$. It's a bit sad, in fact it's "LOL, I have a T-shirt with Bill Gates as a Borg, LOL!" sad.
What next? $ony? ¥tendo? Bli$$ard? Erm... Ubi$oft? You get the idea. It's a slippery slope which will eventually lead to all company names being simply replaced by a string of currency symbols and a lot of confusion.

It was? Oh. I'll let them off then. Haven't actually connected to Live (sorry, LIVE) in God knows how long...
