    Is this similar to Risk?

    It's nothing like Risk.

    It's a tile laying game: you take turns to place a random tile, to build the countryside; you've got a limited supply of people to place on the countryside. Depending on where you place them, they score points. Some score points immediately; some take a while; some are only scored at game over. Once they score, you can remove them, and use them again to score.

    That's it. No dice. It's a brilliant, brilliant game, and these screenies are rather nice - good top-down view, and some pretty 3D :)
