All games can be played in blissful border-free 60Hz mode and the game also supports progressive scan.

Good to hear. I appreciate the fact that Capcom bothers to get rid of all the hassles from back then. I don't own a PS2 and thus will not get this but I would love to see the same effort by Nintendo for their VC games.

"On a side note: Capcom should bring Strider back using 2D/3D"

What? As in, say, Strider 2?

Did they fix Side Arms in the Euro release? The emulation was a complete balls up with palette problems and missing animation in the US version of Volume 2.

Infinite or no continues seems fine to me. Use a continue and you've already failed at life, so you may aswell fail with completeness. Honestly - there's little point playing games outside of the original context - which is to see how well you can do with one credit. Continues are for when you want to see things you're not good enough yet to reach.

The inclusion of Black Tiger, 1941, Side Arms and Knights Of The Round is welcome. Captain Commando is a nice touch, but already available on the PS1 (import). Varth is also highly rated by many in the shmup community, it's not a bad pack at all. Only reason I'm not buying is that I have most of the ones I really like in PCB form, aside from 1941 which is really hard to get hold of.
