Call of Juarez DLC on the way

For a few dollars more. Probably.

Is Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood going to be supported by downloadable content? According to whispers from a Polish press event, most definitely.

There's no word on what, or when, or for how much, but according to Polygamia, which we can't link to because the click-through at spotters vg247 makes our browser spasm backwards through its own head, the DLC will be available for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Given that Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is a straightforward FPS (albeit of an excellent western bent) in single-player, our money would be on developer Techland producing multiplayer additions.

See what we made of the game, which came out on Friday in Europe courtesy of Ubisoft, over in our Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood review, where the game picked up a magnificent seven.

The PC version I'm playing (and enjoying) seems to have an option in the single player for Bonus missions but there's nothing there yet. I presume, therefore, that the DLC will be both multi and single player.

Incidentally, the PC version already includes some maps that are not currently in the game and they're prefixed with DLC according to various forums I visit. Seems that someone has unzipped some of the game's data files and discovered them. So it looks very much like some, if not all, of the extra content is already included in the retail game. Let's hope it's free, eh? ;)
