Braid going cheap on Steam News

PC News by Oli Welsh

11 September, 2009

The PC version of 10/10 arthouse platformer Braid has been heavily discounted on Steam for the weekend.

You can pick it up for just $5, or £3.39 in the Queen's cash, from Valve's digital download service. That's a two-thirds reduction in price.

Braid is a mind-bending, time-bending puzzle platform game with a heart. At that price, everyone should try it.

Bargain of the century.
Plays fine with a 360 pad as well.

If I were at a dinner party, and a waiter came out carrying a tray of Braids stacked neatly in a pyramid, I would have to say, "Mr. Ambassador, with these Braids you are really spoling us."

It's that good!

Seriously everyone should download this now, there really is no excuse.
It is one of the cleverest and most beautiful games for years.
If you have not tried it before I urge you to do so now.

That price is so low it's almost offensive. Buy buy buy.

I already bought it in that massive indie pack a couple of weekends ago, it was like £20 for 10 games, stuff like braid, the path, crayon physics, audiosurf, blueberry garden etc. making each one roughly £2

You always have to keep your eye on steam, you never know what ridiculous deals they'll have on at the weekend.

I'd just finished GTA IV and finally decided to pick this up this weekend. Low and behold it's only $5! Runs great on my netbook too. So far so good. The music is phenomenal!
