Bomberman for XBLA

Exploading this summer.

Hudson has finally given in to our child-like pining and revealed that Bomberman will be revamped for Xbox Live this summer.

It will let you enjoy harmless explosive thrills against up to seven other people online, or pit you up against three friends on one console.

Bomberman Live will also be given the high-definition spit-shine, with the usual slog of 200 gamerpoints available, and a host of character customisation options with more than 10,000 possible combinations.

"This has been one of our most requested games, our fans have been clamoring for it, and we are thrilled to finally be able to deliver the game they want," said John Greiner, big cheese of Hudson Entertainment.

"As our flagship series, Bomberman has been hailed as the best multiplayer game ever created. Now that Xbox Live Arcade delivers a truly worldwide multiplayer gaming platform, we can at last bring to market a Bomberman game that represents our long-term vision of the brand."
