Bomberman finally coming to PSN News

Hudson plans to finally offer Bomberman on the PlayStation Network this winter.

The familiar ticking package comes with online multiplayer battles for up to eight and heated local bouts for up to four.

There will be 14 stages to mix things up, plus around 50 different costumes amounting to something like 150,000 possible outfit combinations. Just off the top of our head. Oh OK from the press release.

Classic Bomberman, then, where little men try to blow each other up and use funky power-ups to make proceedings more hectic. We'll let you know when a more specific date and a price appear.

I allready have Bomberman Live for XBLA but most of my online gaming friends own PS3s, so I'm VERY happy to see Bomberman coming to PSN also :)

Only have it on the iPhone, but may be tempted by this. Never got it for the 360, not sure why entirely.

Is this exactly the same as the PS1 version? I have seen many releases of bomberman but none have come close to the original.

I would like to see a remake of Poy Poy, just as good as Bomberman and worth the £12 I paid for it on Ebay recently.
