Bomberman Blast arrives on WiiWare
Along with Twist 'n Paint, Midnight Pool.
Nintendo has updated the Wii Shop with three new WiiWare games, including the eight-player Bomberman Blast.
Hudson's latest attempt to make a few quid off the TV-headed explosives enthusiast will cost you 1000 Wii Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10 approx), and focuses on the classic multiplayer maze game where participants plant bombs to try and blow one another up. Is this allowed to come out on 12th September? Can someone check the rules?
Elsewhere there is Plattchen Twist 'n Paint, whose decision to do without capital letters for "twist" and "paint" we will not be upholding, and which is described as a puzzle shooter. Apparently you shoot and paint tiles to match them with others. All this for a whopping 1500 Wii Points (GBP 10.50 / EUR 15 approx).
Finally there is Midnight Pool, which costs 800 Wii Points (GBP 6 / EUR 8 approx) and simulates everyone's favourite pub sport. Well, second favourite after darts. Apparently it began life as a Flash game, which presumably means it's derived from the Gameloft one, although we could just be typing things in on Google and then pasting them here.
Actually, that sounds fun. Platypus octagon! Organic hatstand! Tomato reflex!
Look out for a roundup of these three WiiWare efforts next week.

Eight-player, I dunno, but will definitely give it a try for all of £7.50.
