It'll be interesting to see US and European sales. In Japan poor sales can be put down to the ridiculously low user base.

Jedi JRPG's usually sell best in Japan, albeit the low userbase doesn't reflect what it could be, but i don't see how Blue Dragon is going to suddenly champion sales in the US there's been plenty of JRPG's that have gone into oblivion numbers wise like Disgaea and the like.

The game has sold 200.000 copies in Japan and managed to shift with it about a 100.000 Xbox 360s overs there. it will be released in the US around August and for Europe around September.

Hardly earth-shattering news for me this - talk of a sequel to a game none of us have seen yet ...

How about digging up the PS3 sales figures for the last 2 weeks if you're bored EG?

Course MS will pay for a sequel. This sold pretty well for a 360 game in Japan. And the huge acclaim it recieved from Japanese gamers will definatly not do MS's reputation any damage.

How much is great publicity worth in a country that hates you? More than Blue Dragon cost...thats for sure.

Another rpg to keep an eye open for is Cry-On...produced by Final Fantasy producers...Also Lost Oddysee.
