Blue Dragon gets free add-ons
Mistwalker RPG boosted in Japan.
Japan's biggest-selling Xbox 360 title, Hironobu Sakaguchi/Mistwalker's Blue Dragon, is set to receive a burst of downloadable content tomorrow at 8pm local time.
At that point, fans will be able to grab an update that introduces a pair of new difficulty modes ("hard" and "super hard"), which adjust enemy toughness, along with a "new plus" option that allows players who have finished the game to start again with their characters' stats intact.
What's more, the download won't cost anything, which is good news. And given that Blue Dragon is still yet to be dated in Europe, there's every chance we'll see these updates bundled into the three-DVD RPG when it launches here later this year.

lol, hmm is not having to change the disc worth £145 to you or wotever the difference may be.
I want this game, i thought M$ would fast track this so it could actually sell more.

Harder difficulties will also solve what is pretty much the game's only serious problem, too.

Yeah, yeah, it's not like we need cars, it's just slightly slower to travel by foot or horse.

Additionally I remember back in the PSX era being wowed by the amount of content which must have been in those Final Fantasies that they needed to have 3-4 discs. This is no different. Spreading the content over multiple discs gives the impression that you're getting more for your money.
