BioShock and Oblivion UK bundle dated
PC and Xbox 360 pairs.
2K has announced plans to bundle BioShock and Oblivion together on PC and Xbox 360, with both platform versions due out in Europe on 10th July.
The PC version has a suggested retail price of GBP 19.99, while the Xbox 360 duo will set you back around GBP 29.99.
Which, if you haven't played either of them, ought to be a bit of a summer head-turner. Kristan gave both games 10/10 - check out his BioShock and Oblivion reviews to refresh your memory.

I find it hard to believe anyone reading this article hasn't played at least one of these games.
I haven't played either of them, I want to but there are so many games and so little time.
But as someone said, I can already buy them for £10-£12 each.

Also, I have to say that whilst I liked both games, neither really kept me gripped. I got bored of BioShock around Cohen and in Oblivion I just got bored of the terrible combat around identikit areas.

A good pair of 8/10 games though.

How could you call Oblivion an 8/10 game? Are you Morrowind people?

I would too, and I barely played Morrowind (because it ran like shit on Xbox and I'm not a PC gamer). If the combat in Oblivion was improved and the level design a little more diverse then it would have been far better, but it just feels so repetitive at times. I got about 20 hours in and just lost interest.

As for Bioshock, before you ask yes I'm a System Shock 2 person.
If they did a System Shock 2 + Morrowind GOTY bundle, that would be something to rush out for.

Bioshock is 7/10. Pretty poor combat but the ability to customize of your character sort of makes up for it.
Pretty repetitive too - especially the pipemania hacking game.
Oblivion is a good game but in this day and age where you can pick up games for half nothing preonwed do you really want to spend all your time at it?

Why, a big gamer with pretty strong but informed views on gaming, which often leads to him looking down on most gaming reviewers since they talk complete nonsense. He knows what makes a good game, and what makes a bad game... He's been wasting his free time playing the bloody things long enough to tell the difference (unlike most gamers out there).
